City of York Council received a number of grants from HM Government during the Covid pandemic.
The Covid Bus Service Support Grant (CBSSG) was provided to support tendered bus services, social distancing and Covid information for bus passengers. Funding was allocated by the council to operators of tendered bus services between 17th March 2020 and 30th August 2021 as follows:
