York's Park & Ride services allow you to travel to York by car, park for free in secure car parks and complete your journey into the city centre by bus.
Park & Ride buses are all low-floor and wheelchair-accessible. Fares are low with up to three children aged 16 or under travelling free when accompanied by a paying adult. Discounts are available for regular Park & Ride users.
All Park & Ride sites and buses are equipped with free WiFi. Public toilet facilities are available at all sites.
Overnight parking is not allowed on any Park & Ride site.
Dogs are permitted on Park & Ride buses providing they are quiet, well-behaved and are kept off the seats.
City of York Council would like your feedback on proposals to improve five of the six Park and Ride sites. Overnight parking would be introduced at two sites. For all five sites there would be electric vehicle chargers for Blue Badge holders, cycle parking, lighting improvements, kerb renewal, and refurbished toilets. Find out more and comment online.
All Park & Ride services are operated by First Bus York on behalf of City of York Council. Use our Park & Ride feedback form to send comments, complaints or suggestions about the buses, facilities, sites, and your journey.
