Monks Cross Park & Ride now serves York Rail Station (stop RJ). To accommodate this new stop, the route has been changed slightly. If you used to board service 9 at Rougier Street stop CH, please wait at stop CA on the opposite side of the road. The service also no longer stops to set down passengers at Micklegate.

Entry to the site is via Martello Way off the A1036 Malton Road roundabout. There is no access into the site from Kathryn Avenue.
Parking is free of charge for Park & Ride bus users and cyclists. To ensure sufficient space in the car park for Park & Ride users, if you wish to park at Monks Cross Park & Ride without using the bus service or cycling into the city centre, a £5 daily parking charge applies. Buy your parking ticket from the site supervisor and ensure it is clearly displayed in your car windscreen. Improper use of the car park facilities will result in a penalty charge.
Overnight parking is not permitted at Park & Ride sites. Please check the site closing times before leaving your car. Any vehicles left in the car park after the site closes will incur a penalty charge.
Match days
Limited parking is available on York City FC and York City Knights RLFC home match days for supporters who have pre-purchased parking along with their match tickets. If you are attending a match, please avoid driving to the Park & Ride site unless you already have a pre-purchased parking ticket.
Camper vans
Due to the construction of our new 'hyperhub' electric vehicle charging facility, we regret that camper van parking is no longer available at this site. Camper vans can be accommodated at Askham Bar, Grimston Bar and Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride sites.
Coaches
Coaches can not be accommodated at Monks Cross Park & Ride. For details of coach parking locations, please see the information for coach operators on the City of York Council website.
